Private emails subject to eDiscovery

We use personal technology is used to enhance productivity.  We transfer work documents to Google Docs or a stick drive so we can work on them at home.  We email ourselves documents as attachments and read them at our leisure.

The Government of UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) has made it clear that information stored in personal email is subject to the Freedom of information act
